Time Is Precious, Don't Take It For Granted.

I was just scrolling through the friend list and man kinda hit me like a brick. I don't have thousands of friends, if you're my friend on FB, it's because we are friends. I've got a dozen or so friends that are no longer with us. Some were old age, some were cancer and some were worse.
Doug, a great friend of mine, passed away alone in his apartment. He had an enlarged heart that gave up. The saddest thing is that nobody noticed he was gone. An enlarged heart on more than one level, he had the biggest heart in the world. It breaks my heart.
It really makes a guy think and keep thinking. If I was doing anything, working in the shop, my house, anywhere around here, and something happened, how long would it take for people to start looking for me? Now this isn't some morbid thing, it's just reality and it's something we all need to think about.
Life is precious and time is precious, so make the most out of both. There's no such thing as a do over, once our number is called, that's it and none of us know when it is going to happen. Make it all the best you can and be someone that people would go looking for. Don't dodge a phone call, don't avoid a text, and definitely don't take anything for granted.
If you care about someone, let them know, because you never know when you won't be able to talk to them. Don't waste what little time we all have on anything but being the best we can be.
Be remarkable, be extraordinary, and most importantly, be memberable.
