I'm Matt.

I'm 40 years old and I'm surprised I made it this long. 

I'm a builder, thinker, fabricator, engineer, machinist with 40 years of knowledge at the spark of my synapses.  I lack the ability to forget things, you may say that is awesome but it's a curse in disguise.  So many things I wish I could block out of my brain, at the same time it made me who I am.  I didn't have a great beginning to my story and everything I have and everything I know is from a lot of learning and a lot of mistakes.

I look back on the things I've done and I can't believe someone hasn't just put me out of my misery.

I'm using this as a place for my collective everything.  My projects, blog and as a project to keep idles hands from happening.  My goal is to attempt to pass along the things I've done, the knowledge I have and hopefully help myself and others avoid some of the same mistakes.
2022 has been a whirlwind of a year, that's for sure.  I had some of the most amazing highs in my life and some of the lowest lows I will ever experience.  I have recently started my journey into the realm of my mental health and I'm making strides everyday.  Everyday I try to be better than the day before, sure there are random setbacks but the main goal is to grow to be what I want to be, truly happy.  I've come to realize that needed to start with me, nobody can take you to that place unless you start the journey on your own.
