The Life Of A Dreamer.

I have never been a follower, I've always been a dreamer, a forward thinker, and there isn't a box I have thought outside of. Without dreaming, what else is there? Everyday is a dream set in reality, live like you'll never wake up.

The key to life isn't locked in a box out of reach, it's right in front of us everyday, we just choose which door it unlocks. Personally I try to make everyday better than the last, and to live it like it's my last. When my time comes, I don't want a list of things I wish I did, I want people to say I lived until I died. If there is a magical book of life, would anyone read it? I sure as hell know I wouldn't, I'll live my dream and write my own book.

Random movie quotes are a fuel that always burns in me, Chance Favors The Prepared Mind, from an awful movie but I always loved that quote. There are so many things in life that are left completely up to chance, recognize them before they are gone. Of all the things I've done thus far in my life, it seems like I always take the chance card. Sometimes it works out amazing, and other times it's just another lesson to be stored in my mental library.

Never Underestimate Radical Vision, another one from a terrible movie but that is what I base a lot of my work on. I often hear people say, when I'm designing something or building something, that's not the right way. Wrong, that's not the way they would do it so they instantly call it wrong. I have designed some crazy things in my life and I always go about it from outside the box. If the answers to everything were inside the box, that sets the boundaries for your mind. My mind knows no bound and it never will.

This world was built by dreamers, everything cool that has ever been built started out as someone's dream. After the fact, everyone copies it and calls it innovation and that's not innovation. Just think about everything that came about in the 20th century alone, In the 19th century people were still amazed by a wheel. Since then, planes, jets, cars, space, computers, phones, and countless other things. Imagine being able to go back to the thinkers of the old west and telling them, "you know, one day we will be able to run our lives off a device that fits in our hands." They would call you crazy and probably lock you up.

Dreaming isn't just about how you live your life, it's about how you want to live your life. It's goals, aspirations, thinking about what you want life to be, and going after it all. The trick to all that is having a dream that could turn into reality. We could all sit back and dream about winning the lottery but we'd beat ourselves up if it never happened. Waking up shouldn't be the end of the dream, do whatever you can to get to where you want to be in life. In the end life is easy but we always manage to complicate it.

At the end of the day people want things there way, right now, or it's hell to pay. Who actually wants to live that way? Life is all about balance, give and take, dreams and reality, work and play, and tacos or sushi. Don't take any of it for granted and I repeat, DO NOT TAKE ANY OF IT FOR GRANTED! Everyday we have is a blessing, don't let the weight of the world or the actions of others be the reality to your dream.

There are those that live the dream and those who chase the dream. I live a new dream everyday of my life. There are many different kinds of people, saints and sinner, winners and losers, cowards and heroes, lovers and haters, devils and angels, It's up to you and you alone which one you'll be today, but never underestimate the life of a dreamer.
