Here is a subject that I studied like a mofo, not to understand it, but debunk it. The long and short of it is, take this sell assessment test and you are thrown into one of sixteen different personality types. Here's my story behind it all.

So, long ago, I was in a long term relationship with this woman and out of the blue she's referring to everyone in four letter terms. Um what is this? She urged me to take the test, so I took it and got my results and instantly, that's all I was, a four letter person. I had to investigate thoroughly to find a reasoning behind all of this. So I took it again, and again, and again, and I wish I could my notes on my research.

I set myself up a Punnett square and gave myself the objectives of this exercise. The Punnett square was set into 100 cubes, the side was a list of current moods, the top was time of day. I knew I had to be objective in my findings so I made myself interpret my feelings into each test, rather than just repeat the test 100 times. No prior test could have any influence on any current or future test. Then I began.

It all started the next day, I woke up tired as hell, groggy and just wanting to sleep. Well I had a spot on the square for tired and early am. So I took the test, got my result, and wrote it down. This process continued for close to a month. I took the test when I was, tired, awake, motivated, lonely, horny, angry, drunk, happy, buzzed, and ignored. Yes I could feel more than one emotion at a time but I chose to use the one that is most prevalent. The time was just ten times throughout the day, starting with early am and finishing after the bar closes.

At the end of it all, of the 16 different categories a person could be in, I had been all 16 of them. I wrote my paper on it and turned in my finding to my girlfriend, that was constantly thinking I was just doing it to spite her, I wasn't. I needed reasoning and logic behind it to fully understand it. She got my thesis on it all, which she called a thesis because it was presented in the way of a thesis, and her jaw dropped and eyes went huge. She told me that could literally be a thesis on it all. Ok back up a touch, she had been talking about it for months like she had studied it. I thought I was handing it to an expert in the field, and well, not even close. She told me that she had just read an article in a magazine and liked it, so she just started doing it. There is evidence of the Dunning-Kruger Effect right there but that is a subject for a different blog. She told me I had just done more research, planning and implementation on a field of study, than she had done in the entirety of her masters degree.

She took it all the wrong way of course. She wanted it to be something we could get into together but I couldn't get into something that I didn't understand the basis for. It's the highly analytical brain I have. There are things I don't understand, but with enough research, when I understand it all, I grasp it all.

Well that was a long story and just as my final statement, there is a test that will tell you that you are one of only 16 types of personality on the planet. I did my study and I ended up with all 16 of them. Don't let someone or something label you and then force you to accept it. & billion or so people on the planet and I can tell you this, I am one of one. If there were only 16 different types of personality on this planet, we'd all just have a label on our foreheads.

Don't be labeled, you are you.
