Don't Start Someone On Fire, Then Claim To Be The One That's Burning.

This happens way to often in life and it's sad. Somebody does something that sets you in fire, then they claim to be the victim. We've been turned into a society of zero accountability and it's destroying us.
It's truly sad that we, as a society, have gotten to this point. I see it way too often in work and especially in life.
At work it sucks, somebody does something totally wrong and they just end up pointing the finger at someone else. It should be something like....hey I fucked this up, gotta make a new one. That right there is huge, it shows respect and gives respect. If someone messes something up and just blames everyone else, not cool.
In life, ufda, everyone plays the victim and they tell everyone they know. You know what happens then, very one-sided story and I guarantee they don't take any sort of accountability. It's like getting stabbed in the back and being blamed for there being a knife in the kitchen. That shows zero respect, zero accountability, and just proves they have zero issues destroying someone's reputation, instantly villainized by anyone that will listen.
Always remember this, there are always two sides to a story and you could be the one to stop the train of gossip. You could be the one to hear the other side of the story. You could be the one that goes back and sets the record straight.
Don't gossip and don't willingly destroy someone's reputation because you want people to feel sorry for you. We're all adults, we need to act like it, and we need to be held responsible for our actions. I'll always admit when I'm wrong, I won't let someone convince me I'm wrong just because they think they are right and I won't let someone dump gas on me and then blame me for having a match.
Gossip will destroy more than politics ever could, we're better than that.
I've been set on fire, I've been through all this.
Do you know what arose from the ashes?
The best version of me, a phoenix born from the the ashes that was once me. No longer am I consumed by negativity, haunted by sorrow, and made to feel inferior. I am Matt and I'm here to make this life the best I can and if someone wants to try and tear me down, bring it!
